Established in 2002, Emerald Lawn Care was different from the beginning. Our professionals have always delivered personal service and a custom program. We want you to have a beautiful, thriving landscape, but we do not want to waste your money on unnecessary treatments that add needless chemicals into the environment.
Our General Manager
Tracey Coleman earned her B.A. cum laude from Vanderbilt University and worked in customer service and
product management before joining Emerald Lawn Care in 2012. She served as Office Manager until 2024 when she assumed the role of General Manager, responsible for all functions of the business. A lifelong resident of the Chicago suburbs, Tracey volunteers for local and national organizations including As Good as Gold Golden Retriever Rescue of Illinois, Friends of the Palatine Library, Illinois Advocates for Children PTA, and the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation.
Our Involvement
Emerald Lawn Care is a proud member of the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association (ILCA), the Illinois Turfgrass Foundation (ITF), the Midwest Regional Turf Foundation (MRTF), and the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP). Emerald Lawn Care was pleased to be a recipient of the Lawn & Landscape magazine national Leadership Award.

Emerald Supports K9s for Veterans
April 2025
Our team proudly presented a monetary donation to K9s for Veterans, in partnership with the Des Plaines Elks Lodge, whose members contributed additional donations.
K9s for Veterans is a Chicago-based nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) transition back to civilian life by pairing them with professionally trained service dogs. These dogs are adopted from shelters and trained to provide emotional support and stability, at no cost to the veteran. The organization also covers the full cost of food and medical care for each service dog for life.
We’re honored to support a mission that not only saves the lives of shelter dogs but also empowers veterans on their path to healing.
Emerald Donates to The Buddy Foundation

Emerald Lawn Care proudly donated to The Buddy Foundation, a volunteer-run no-kill animal shelter in Arlington Heights, IL, located in the heart of the branch’s service area. This organization has helped place pets with loving families in the community for many years.
With many Emerald employees being pet owners and animal lovers, supporting The Buddy Foundation was a special opportunity.
